Due to the recent influx of spambots in the forum, I have taken measures to handle the situation. New restrictions have been set for new forum members, as seen below:

• Registration now requires admin authentication. New members must now have their accounts activated by either RasenganBoi or myself.
• Newly registered users now require post approval. New members who are allowed into the board will have their first posts moderated by the staff. Their posts will not appear in the forum without approval.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but the issue with spambots is growing to a point we need to strengthen our security. I felt the matter was urgent enough to warrant immediate action, so I did not consult RasenganBoi about these changes. As a result, the board may still be reconfigured in the future, so please bear with us. Any future changes to the forum will be mentioned in this topic. Feel free to send us a PM if you have any suggestions.

An additional note:

Suspicious usernames are less likely to have their accounts activated. Random numbers, offensive names and/or gibberish will be ignored (pointing out the irony in my number won't change this).

If your account hasn't been activated and you would like to prove you're not a bot, contact either Arby or I at Mega Man X9.com with your username, and we'll activate it as soon as possible.

Also, I would like to reiterate that even with your account activated, your first few posts won't appear in the forum without admin approval. If you're not seeing a reply you just posted, please wait until we review the contents. As soon as the post is approved, it will be visible to the public.
