Physical Description: Female 15 year old notably tall for her age, even towering over the average male adult; has leaf green eyes and long red hair usually tied into either a braid or a ponytail at the bottom. Long bangs cover her forehead. Usually wears her standard female Guardian uniform, but she can be seen wearing street clothes and a gi on the days she trains at the dojo.

Skills or Techniques: Guardian soldier training and martial arts.

Background: Chêne lost her mother to Mavericks when she was five years old. Following the incident, her father left her under the custody of Girouette. Chêne hasn't seen her father since. She took advantage of Giro's connection with the Guardians to join them at age 14 under the condition that she would not tell Vent and Aile about it. This happened months before Giro's death.

Personality: Very cantankerous and rambunctious, to the point that even Prairie struggles to keep her in check. However, she is also quite smart and can learn new skills quickly in areas of interest. Her brashness puts her at high risk of biting more than she can chew, but she is able to learn from her mistakes. She can be surprisingly amiable and cooperative near someone she respects, but gaining said respect from her is a feat in itself.

Dreams: To be strong and autonomous.

Reasons for Dreams: To put an end to the threat of the Biometals and the Mavericks.

Miscellaneous Information:

• Chêne despises Biometals and demonstrates this at every opportunity. She believes them to be as responsible as Model W for the Maverick attacks. She used to be friends with Vent and Aile when they were raised together in Giro Express, but distanced from them after the two acquired Biometals themselves.
  
• Chêne trains martial arts three times a week in a dojo somewhere in Cinq Ville.
  
• Because of her tough front and willingness to fight, some Guardians occasionally refer to Chêne as "Amazon" behind her back. Still, there are gossips that she displays more femininity in moments of privacy.
  
• After Sardine, Vent and Aile, Chêne is the youngest Guardian. She is also the fourth human known to join the ranks of the Guardians, excluding the first commander.
  
• The Guardian Congre freezes upon hearing Chêne's name. When questioned about it, he simply stammers as he says: "Don't mention that name."
  
• Chêne is secretly fond of video games and hides a portable in her room. She also happens to like dark chocolate, and can be seen sometimes with a small bar on her hand.
