Origin

Years ago, the Reploid Scientist Dr. Doppler created a new Energy called "Limited". It was unique, and reliable. After numerous inicidents, it is discovered to not be a true energy, but rather, a parasitic Replibrain that was meant to gather data on Reploids. With it, Sigma could return once again, and a copy of X, called "iX", was made.

Doppler was defeated, and the evil Sigma was quelled once again. Many years later, traces of "Limited" remained in Dopplers Destroyed lab in Doppler Town. A scientist, Dr. Magellan Ordarium discovered the last traces of Limited, and with his status in Government, managed to learn about it. A friend of his, Dr. Kazuo, shot the idea of updating Limited so it is friendly with today's standards and Reploid friendly, and hopefully, a reliable replacement for energy.

ALPHA

After toying with it for months, and countless tests, the "Ordarium Alpha" was made. Ordarium Alpha was heavily unstable and gave out large amounts of power, so unless the host of the energy got rid of it immediately, it/he/she would explode. But it was a step in the right direction. They continued to water it down, reducing the needed materials for construction. Eventually, it was safe enough for Reploids to use. By this time, Magellan was an old man, with a son named "Teech" ready to take over his research. Right now, the Ordarium Core was nearing completion. It was compatible with Force Metals, and could generate Ordarium just like the larger Reactors of the miniature plant in the test city known as New Hera.

New Hera

New Hera was designed as a Human Utopia, and as a testing ground for Ordarium in daily human life. They also needed to conduct tests on normal Reploids to ensure none of the Parasitic features of Limited were carried on, and that Reploids didn't go Maverick from it. After a year or so, Reploids were greenlighted, and New Hera began to truly thrive as a popular city.

Illegal Distribution

By now, Force Metal's were deemed dangerous to all, and were banned. After the SYN Incident, which concluded right when Force Metals were deemed useless, Ordarium Labs were ordered by Government to focus on energy distribution following an investigation. They took what they said, and slightly bent it; recreating Force Metal's, and distributing "Ordarium Batteries". Reploids could use them for quick energy bursts in a pinch, and other uses. Force Metal ALPHA was rumoured to be being experimented on, along with Force Metals, but rumours remain unconfirmed.

The Problem

Ordarium could not stay still; if it wasn't being used, it would, like a parasite, grow by eating away at it's host. So they made it deplete slowly to prevent an infection, or corruption. Also to counter this, is if the Liquefied Energy escaped it's holder tubes, it would immediately turn into mist, and half a minute later, it would completely disintegrate. Ordarium Battery's were sold exclusively in New Hera, and after the Government found out, they'd decided to observe before taking an action. They had major suspicions and were prepared to take action if need be.

The Impending Crisis

The Maverick Hunters defeated the Canadian-made Animaloid, Tsunami Hydra. Discovering how it went Maverick took some time, until one of the Hunters stated they recognized one of the exclusive features the machine had; Ordarium. They were going to travel to New Hera of their own accord, but were called there anyways to deal with a sudden Maverick Uprising. All of these Mavericks used Ordarium, and a full-scale investigation was sent to discover Ordarium's true qualities.

The Finale

After the investigation, they had discovered after tests, and thorough studying, Ordarium was found to have Parasitic Qualities still, and was feeding data the host knew to New Hera. They had sent in teams from Multiple Maverick Hunter Bases to stop Ordarium from being produced, and ordered the arrest of everybody working at Ordarium labs along with the quarantine of Reploids. When the teams arrived, it was too late; every single Reploid who lived in New Hera for over two weeks were rioting; Streets were almost impossible to move through, and all were chanting "HAIL LORD SIGMA". They had attempted to quell the threat, when suddenly...

The Push

The skies of New Hera glowed a bright blue for about two seconds, and after, it seemed like everything was being pushed away; buildings were knocked over, the ground was being made into a crater, well into Doppler Town. The push was small, but the force it gave out was more than enough to completely annihilate New Hera, and the areas of Doppler Town.

Reactor Failure...!?

The Government didn't want to cause a panic globally, and announced the destruction of New Hera as a Reactor Failure, and issued the Maverick Hunters to state so as well. Many Hunters and innocent lives were lost due to Ordarium, and rounding up the last of the Ordarium users, carriers, and even those with short contact with an infected, will be difficult, and is nearly impossible in the large world.

After...

Teech Ordarium, the current owner of Ordarium Labs and newest Mayor of New Hera, was said to have gone mad with power and paranoia. He proceeded to kill his men and anybody in his office moments before the big boom. The only survivor was a Reploid, who had also survived the large explosion to bring the report to Government ears. He was also infected, and sadly, was terminated due to the infection being too far inside him. He understood, and asked that those close to him that are still alive attend his oncoming execution.
