Equipment: Nine Ball carries a rapid fire Burst Pulse Rifle in his right hand, which can launch multiple three shot bursts of blue energy extremely quickly. The shots aren't very powerful, but after a few volleys the damage adds up fast.
Mounted on his left arm is a high-heat Red Plasma Blade, capable of inflicting devastating damage to anything it cuts. It is also capable of launching a 3-foot wide wave of energy by Nine Ball slashing with extreme force. The wave is weaker than the blade, but still inflicts some damage.
Mounted on the back of his right shoulder is a Dual Homing Missile Launcher. Holding 30, finger sized homing missiles, the launcher can lock on to any target Nine Ball can see. It can detect an enemy through thin material like sheet metal, but the missiles will not maneuver around objects. Though small, the missiles are still explosives, and as such, they are powerful enough to blast a small hole in a wall.
Nine Ball's strongest weapon is his Condensed Plasma Grenade Launcher, which is mounted on the back of his left shoulder. Normally folded into two sections, the firing mechanism and the barrel, the cannon unfolds when it is in use. The cannon launches 2-feet wide balls of glowing pink energy which explode on contact into a sphere of searing hot plasma. The explosions are 3 meters in radius, and as such, the launcher cannot be used in close range unless Nine Ball wants to take severe damage as the result of his shots. The cannon also generates massive amounts of recoil and only holds 5 shots.
Nine Ball is covered in heavy, durable armor. His defense is greater than most Reploids.
Nine Ball does not have a dash system. Instead, he has a system of booster jets; two on his back, and two on each leg. The jets grant Nine Ball enhanced maneuverability on ground, as he can boost around at high speeds in any direction. He can also take to the air for extended jumps and limited flight, though he cannot move very quickly while in the air. The jets are powered by a special generator within his heavily armored frame that constantly recharges, but it is drained by firing his Rifle, slashing with his Blade, or boosting. If he uses too much energy at once, he cannot use any of these weapons or abilities for 10 seconds.
Skills or Techniques: Nine Ball is a highly skilled combatant armed with exceptional weaponry. He is competent at any range, but he shines in mid-close range combat. Using his boosters, he slides and glides around his foe, pelting them with burst after burst of pulse energy, slicing away chunks with his Plasma Blade, and finishing them off with a devastating Condensed Plasma Grenade. At a distance, Nine Ball uses his Homing Missiles as a diversion as he makes rapid advances towards his opponent. Sometimes he will use his Grenade Launcher to end a fight quickly, but given the weapon's very limited ammo this tactic is seldom used.
Nine Ball is also proficient in infiltrating fortresses and bases. Having invaded many a base in his mercenary career, Nine Ball can intuitively direct himself to key parts of stronghold, though without knowledge of the layout beforehand he can't always go to the key area he wants to on his first attempt.
Background: Nine Ball was the top ranked member of a mercenary group known as the Ravens. The Ravens worked under a facility called the Raven's Nest, where jobs were managed and repairs, upgrades, and training occurred for the mercenaries. Over a century ago, Nine Ball fell in battle, and his battered remains were never recovered by the Nest. Recently his broken body was found by Chiba, who then repaired and restored Nine Ball and his weaponry. He is now working for Chiba, indebted to him for restoring his life.
Personality: Serious and ruthless. Being a former mercenary, Nine Ball kills with no remorse. He's compliant to whoever has payed for his services.
Dreams: Restore the Raven's Nest, and protect mankind as well as its world.
Reasons for Dreams: Nine Ball's example set in the Raven's Nest caused many to follow his ideals of a peaceful world. When he disappeared suddenly in the events of Megaman Zero, many abandoned hope and left the Nest as it slowly crumbled. He wishes to rebuild his home and, in a way, family. His reasons for protecting the humans and the Earth are from his belief that he was created with the abilities to do so, and feels he must exercise these powers to their fullest.
Miscellaneous Information: Nine Ball is an AI housed in a weapon of a body. As such, he made backups of his AI and some spare bodies, though the locations have been lost with time. Only he truly knows where this potential army lies.
