I'm sure that some of you folks remember that adorable Mettaur that brought about much joy and tears to all. In which case, you'll probably remember the fact that I never referred to it by name, which is where you come in.

In this thread, one of you may just have the honor of giving the mechanical critter an actual name. As the Guardians generally follow the theme introduced by the Resistance of the Zero series, I'll ask your suggestions to be French names. As long as this sole requirement is met, anything is fair game.

You might have an improved chance of having your suggestion chosen if you also include the meaning of the name, and/or the reason for your choice. For now, this contest doesn't have a deadline, although I'll probably bring it to a close by the time the Mettaur makes another appearance in the RP. You can suggest as many names as you'd like, but try to not go overboard.

As for the name...

"Agaçant" which is French for Irritating as the little guy caused much grief to the would-be Animal Catcher-Guardians. >_>

"Vitesse," which means "Speed," as it was a Mettaur version of Quick Man.
