It would be very nice... It's a shame that the maps in ZX and ZX Advent aren't too reliable. At the same time, it could show basically what areas connect.

True. Though fan-made locations would be trickier to place.

Giga City was located near Area K. New Hera is close to Giga City in terms of world map planning... So New Hera itself is near Area K. Tollbound Bog is close to Area A as evidence from Users traveling there, the Control Center from ZX:A was Slither Inc. Headquarters... Using the Control Center's location on ZX: A is a GREAT way to place ZX: A's locations on the actual ZX world map.
