Name: Hel Licorne
Species: Reploid
Affiliation or Occupation: Organization unknown; affiliated with Bestla and Skoll
Physical Description:
Sketch (Reploid Form)Short Description: A female Reploid with dark violet hair, going down past her knees in a ponytail. She has purple, gold, and white armor, black shorts, purple & white boots, and gold wrist and ankle guards.---------------
Hel is a female Reploid, with a youthful, 20's appearance. She has dark violet hair that usually obscures the left side of her face and goes down past her knees in a braided ponytail. Her eyes are a matching violet. She is Caucasian. The red triangle on her forehead that distinguishes her as a Reploid is partially visible. Hel sports an armor similar to Bestla's; the main plate covering her chest itself is gold, and serves as the location for the crest slot. The collar is also gold. The breast covers are white while the rest of the armor is violet. Bestla wears a violet shirt underneath which sports armored shoulders. The trimming where the sleeves end are gold. Her communicators are white, but obscured by her hair.
The emblem on her armor is gold with a violet crystal. The crystal is shaped to be an abstracted form of a horse galloping.
She wears a white belt with a gold buckle. The buckle is diamond-shaped and sports a violet crystal in its center. She wears black shorts that go down to her knees. The rings around the 'sleeves' of the shorts are white. Violet, cloth faulds with gold plating go down just short of that, and cover the sides and back of her legs and waste. She wears boots with a style similar to Aeolus's; the fronts and heels of the boots are white while the middle sections are violet. The ankle-guards are gold. Her 'bracelets' and braids are gold. Hel wears the generic, dark body suit underneath everything else.
Horse Form (Rough Concept Sketch)Short Description: A black and violet mechanical horse with gold trimming and a purple energy mane. She has a purple, crystal horn.---------------
In her Horse Form (see details in Skills/Techniques), she appears as a black and violet mechanized horse. The main sections of her body (upper body, lower body, and forelimbs) are violet/purple. Her neck, midsection, and the other parts of her arms and legs are painted black. Other parts of her body, such as her ankles, and trimming, are painted gold. Parts of her head and other decorative spots on her shoulders are colored white. Her mane and tail are composed of purple energy. Her head also sports a white muzzles around her mouth area, giving a slight skull appearance. A violet gem surrounded by a gold frame rests on the underside of her chest. She also sports a purple, crystal horn, giving the impression of a unicorn motif. Her mouth doesn't open, so her voice is projected similarly to some Pseudoroids.
Equipment:
- Whip-Scythe - An extendable, chain whip that has a scythe attached to it the end. The individual segments are also bladed-sharp. The handle of the weapon is white, with a golden guard and pommel. A violet gem rests in the center of the guard and pommel. The individual segments are white while the base of the scythe section is gold. Another violet gem rests in the center of this section. Each section of the weapon, including the blade, is reinforced with Ceratanium, and is tempered to withstand contact with beam weaponry.
The weapon rests in a carrier on the back of Hel's belt when retracted.
- Horse Crest - A gold emblem with a violet crystal. The crystal is shaped to be an abstracted form of a horse galloping. When used with her armor, Hel can activate an Equisyth
Skills or Techniques:
- Whip-Scythe Combat - Hel has developed her own combat method for using this unique weapon.
- Equisynth - With the Horse Crest equipped, Hel can enter her Horse Mode. In this mode, she has power over darkness, and is the Neutral element, making her one of the most formidable of the mysterious trio. Although she is neither strong nor weak to the other three elements, her abilities can be weakened by strong light. For this reason, she operates primarily at night. She has the speed of a horse while running at full gallop, and can augment her speed with thrusters on her hooves. However, this speed is impractical in many battle scenarios, so it's used for travel. Her notable skills include:
- Umbra Beam - Hel can fire beams of purple energy from her horn as a basic projectile attack. They are about as powerful as a basic Buster Shot.
- Umbra Cloak - Hel blends into the shadows for covert operations. However, this ability does not work at all with strong light present, and even in low-level light, it's possible to see a disturbance on occasion. Using her Umbra Beam ability while cloaked also makes her visible temporarily.
- Umbra Charge - Hel rams her opponent(s) with her horn while storing energy in it. The energy is released on contact, increasing the damage done by her headbutt.
- Umbra Field - Hel emits a field of energy that repels external light from entering. The resulting effect surrounds her and her opponent(s) in darkness (think of Phantom from Mega Man Zero 1 & 3). Hel then attacks her opponents in the darkness, being able to see them using infrared. The field itself has a maximum radius of roughly 10 meters (roughly 32 feet). Visibility within the field is limited to 3 feet. However, the field does not dispel internal light. The light from a flashlight, beam weapon, or laser fire can extend the visibility to up to 8 feet from the emitting point. The amount of light repelled by the field also depends on the harshness of the external light, which can also affect the visibility range. This ability CANNOT be used simultaneously with Hel's Umbra Cloak ability. The field also only affects sight, and cannot disguise sound. It also cannot fool infrared, night vision, or radar. To avoid being seen easily in these circumstances, Hel's mane disappears, so she doesn't emit light.
Umbra Field stays in effect for roughly 5 minutes while Hel is within range of it. The field will disperse if Hel is knocked unconscious. The field also disappears if she moves 40 feet outside of it.
Background: Legion records show that Hel was a scientist that had been shunned by the community for her risky and dangerous weapon and Reploid research. She disappeared after her research lab was destroyed many, many years ago.
Personality: Hel is more ruthless than her associates, and shows no mercy. Anyone she considers weak is instantly inferior, and must be disposed of.
